  • The first session is generally a “getting to know you” session. We’ll explore your background, current challenges, and goals for therapy. This is also a chance to ask questions, review any forms, and start building a safe, supportive relationship as we begin your journey together.

  • The frequency of sessions depends on your symptoms, needs, and, if using insurance, medical necessity. Every client is different, but most people meet weekly or every other week. We’ll work together to find a schedule that fits your goals.

Individual/couples sessions typically last 45–53 minutes. This allows time for your session as well as for documentation before the next client. If using insurance, session length may also be determined by medical necessity.

Immigration Evaluations are 3 hours of direct assessment.

  • My therapeutic style is generally more active and goal-oriented. I aim to strike a balance between actively listening and holding space for you when you need to process your thoughts, while also equipping you with personalized, evidence-based tools to help you navigate your challenges.
